Deutsche Kantorei Peking

On 23 November 2021 and again on 26 April, 20 June and 10 September 2022  a mini-project group of DKP men sang several concerts of repertoire for men's choir. This is the deep side of DKP. The repertoire spanned German Romantic Lieder by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Kern and Lyra, Poulenc's Quatre petites prières de Saint Françoise d'Assise, barbershop repertoire, gospels and a Basque traditional sailor's song. On 20 and 21 November 2021 DKP gave Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem in D minor KV 626 at the German embassy in Beijing.  The accompaniment was Raymond Alessandrini's arrangement for 2 pianos and 1 timpani.
