Songs by humans about nature

On 10 and 11 June 2023 DKP gave a concert on the theme of humankind and nature at the German embassy school in Beijing.

The concert featured:

Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Sechs Lieder für gemischten Chor, im Freien zu singen, op. 59

Camille Saint-Saëns, Calme des nuits, Les fleurs et les arbres op. 68

Edward Elgar, From the Bavarian Highlands op. 27, The Snow op. 26 no.1

A smaller group of mini-project singers also sang:

Traditional neapolitan, Santa Lucia

Gioachino Rossini, Dall'oriente l'astro del giorno, I Gondolieri

Conductor Chen Nuo

Pianist Wang Yiqi

Violinist Elfi Stahlecker

This concert also featured pianist friends from Kantorei Thomas Carré and children of the German embassy school Ruicheng Li, Luis Yucheng Wang and Freddy Wu.
